Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior consultants with field data collection, including site visits, sampling, and environmental monitoring.
- Conduct research on environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices relevant to projects in British Columbia.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations by compiling data and drafting sections.
- Participate in environmental impact assessments, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and project documentation.
- Contribute to project planning and logistics, ensuring efficient execution of tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on various environmental initiatives, learning diverse consulting approaches.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Biology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong interest and foundational knowledge in environmental issues and sustainability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic analytical skills and attention to detail for data collection and interpretation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License and access to reliable transportation for fieldwork.
Preferred Qualifications

- Basic understanding of Canadian and BC provincial environmental legislation.
