Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements from diverse stakeholders using various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, detailed, and actionable technical specifications for development teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including use cases, process flows, data models, and system diagrams.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Facilitate communication and foster alignment between business units and IT teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project scope and goals.
- Support the testing phase by reviewing test plans, participating in user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating solutions against requirements.
- Propose innovative solutions and contribute to strategic planning by assessing the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and business operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices in business analysis, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role (minimum 4 years).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to grasp complex business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (e.g., interviewing, prototyping, use case modeling).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to create detailed documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification.
