Career.zycto is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy operations in Central, Louisiana. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory control, and patient counseling, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance programs, patient safety initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, HIPAA regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage pharmacy budgets, optimize resource allocation, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other departments to integrate pharmacy services and promote interdisciplinary patient care.
  • Handle patient inquiries, resolve complex medication-related issues, and provide expert pharmaceutical advice.
  • Oversee the proper storage, handling, and security of all medications, including controlled substances.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for pharmacy staff.

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Louisiana.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team building, staff development, and performance management.
  • Exceptional knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and general computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Residency training or advanced certifications (e.g., BCPS, BCGP, APhA MTM Pharmacist Certificate).
  • Experience with pharmacy automation systems and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Proven track record of implementing successful patient care programs or operational improvements.
