Job Description

Delta Beverages is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our strategic talent growth initiatives across the organization. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping the future capabilities of our workforce, ensuring that our employees are continuously developing, highly engaged, and equipped to drive the company’s ambitious goals. As the Director of Learning & Development, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns directly with Delta Beverages’ strategic objectives and operational needs. You will spearhead the design and delivery of innovative learning programs, leadership development frameworks, and talent management solutions that foster a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and career progression.

This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a deep understanding of modern L&D methodologies, digital learning platforms, and adult learning principles. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, HR business partners, and departmental heads to identify critical skill gaps, anticipate future talent needs, and create impactful development pathways. Your strategic acumen will guide the creation of programs that not only enhance individual performance but also strengthen team effectiveness and organizational resilience. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with Delta Beverages' corporate objectives and talent strategy.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills enhancement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management and HR business partners to identify critical skill gaps, anticipate future capability requirements, and develop robust succession planning initiatives.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of learning technologies and platforms to enhance learning delivery and accessibility.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing value for investment.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging L&D trends, and technological advancements to ensure Delta Beverages remains at the forefront of talent development.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale L&D strategies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and talent management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing L&D team.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach and strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency in leveraging learning technologies (LMS, LXP, e-learning tools) to enhance learning effectiveness and reach.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CPLP, ATD certifications).
  • Experience with organizational change management and cultural transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with global L&D best practices and a multicultural workforce.
