Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Administer virtualized environments using VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Implement and manage system security, including patching, antivirus, and firewall configurations.
- Perform regular backups and data recovery operations.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to end-users and junior IT staff.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders on projects and initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022) administration.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere or Hyper-V).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell) for automation.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Server+).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
