Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against established quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize various measurement tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, to ensure accuracy.
- Document and maintain accurate inspection records, non-conformance reports, and corrective action requests.
- Identify, investigate, and report on quality issues, collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve root causes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control points and operational procedures.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, ensuring aesthetic and functional compliance.
- Support internal and external audits as required, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with data entry and reporting software.
