Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze complex biotechnological experiments following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Perform a variety of molecular biology techniques including PCR, gel electrophoresis, cloning, and DNA/RNA extraction.
- Conduct cell culture, microbial fermentation, and protein expression and purification.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain specialized laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Accurately record, analyze, and interpret experimental data, utilizing statistical software where appropriate.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, summaries, and presentations of research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to project planning and problem-solving.
- Stay abreast of scientific literature, emerging technologies, and best practices in biotechnology.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety protocols.
- Assist in the development and optimization of new assays, protocols, and biotechnological processes.
Required Skills
- Master's or PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in biotechnology or life sciences.
