As a Landscaper with Career.zycto, you’ll be an integral part of transforming and maintaining stunning outdoor environments for our residential and commercial clients throughout Downtown Lewiston and surrounding areas. Your daily work will involve a variety of tasks, from mowing and trimming to planting and garden bed preparation, all while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about their craft. Key Responsibilities
- Perform various landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design specifications.
- Prepare and maintain garden beds, including weeding, mulching, and minor soil amendments.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers safely and efficiently.
- Assist in irrigation system setup, monitoring, and basic maintenance.
- Participate in seasonal clean-ups, debris removal, and winterization tasks.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle, trailer, and all tools/equipment.
- Adhere to project schedules and client specifications with attention to detail.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn new skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures or a strong aptitude to learn and follow them.
