Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and inspecting for damage.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specified procedures and customer requirements.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Load and unload trucks manually or using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and easy accessibility.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently (if certified).
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, contributing to overall workplace safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
