Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and filing of various tax returns (personal, corporate, and trust) under supervision.
- Collect, organize, and meticulously analyze financial data, statements, and receipts for accurate tax computation.
- Conduct thorough research on current tax laws, regulations, and relevant industry updates using professional databases.
- Support senior tax analysts in managing client accounts, preparing correspondence, and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and well-organized tax records and documentation, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.
- Utilize professional tax software and tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of tax filings.
- Participate actively in internal team meetings, client briefings, and professional development training sessions to further develop tax knowledge and professional skills.
- Assist with tax planning strategies and compliance initiatives as directed, contributing to client solutions.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and other MS Office applications.
