Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against invoices, and properly store items in designated locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining organized and tidy warehouse shelves and aisles.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including wrapping, stacking, and loading on delivery vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and waste disposal.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Effective communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar light industrial environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
