Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our esteemed team in the vibrant heart of Chinatown, Vancouver. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transaction analysis (PTA).
- Perform in-depth industry and company research to identify potential acquisition targets, strategic buyers, and market trends.
- Assist in the preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other marketing materials for M&A transactions.
- Support due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing financial data, legal documents, and operational information.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess potential transaction impacts and scenarios.
- Collaborate with senior bankers, clients, legal counsel, and other third-party advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Prepare pitch books and proposals for prospective clients, articulating strategic rationales and deal structures.
- Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and internal team discussions.
- Stay abreast of market conditions, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting M&A activity.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a related M&A advisory role.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- CFA designation or progress towards completion.
