Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual client consultations to understand project scope, budget, and design preferences.
- Develop comprehensive design concepts, including mood boards, material palettes, and furniture selections.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D renderings, floor plans, and elevations using industry-standard design software.
- Source and specify finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories from a wide range of vendors.
- Prepare accurate project estimates and manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost-efficient solutions.
- Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals (virtually) to ensure design integrity during implementation.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to high standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and best practices in sustainable design.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and other rendering software.
- Excellent visual and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, lighting design, and material specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Exceptional client relationship management and presentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional licensure.
- Experience with virtual reality (VR) design tools or augmented reality (AR) for client presentations.
