Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate Videographer to join our dynamic creative team in Masonville, London, Ontario. As our Videographer, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of our diverse content, producing engaging videos that capture attention and communicate effectively across various platforms. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual aesthetics, and a proven ability to manage all aspects of video production. This role requires someone who is not only technically proficient but also a creative problem-solver, capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative unit. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and internal communications.
  • Operate professional video cameras, lighting equipment, audio recording devices, and other related production tools.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative director, marketing team, and subject matter experts to understand project requirements and deliver on objectives.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards that align with project goals and brand guidelines.
  • Perform video post-production tasks including editing, colour correction, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to best practices for archival and retrieval.
  • Stay current with industry trends, software, and equipment to continually enhance production quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure all video content is consistent with Career.zycto's brand identity and meets technical specifications for various distribution channels.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
  • Experience with professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras).
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects (Adobe After Effects).
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of previous videography and editing work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience with live streaming and multi-camera setups.
  • Familiarity with colour grading software (DaVinci Resolve).
  • Basic photography skills for supplementary content creation.
