Job Description
Are you a creative and highly skilled Media Production Editor with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail? Safarilink Aviation is seeking a talented individual to join our marketing and communications team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing a wide range of video and photographic content, helping us to visually communicate the exceptional travel experiences we offer. From captivating promotional videos showcasing Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes and wildlife, to informative social media snippets and internal corporate communications, your work will be instrumental in shaping our brand’s visual identity and engaging our diverse audience. Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished and captivating final product for various platforms, including social media, website, and internal communications.
- Ensure all video and photo content aligns with Safarilink Aviation's brand guidelines and artistic vision.
- Implement motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling and production value.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.
- Manage and organize media assets, maintaining a well-structured digital archive.
- Perform color correction, audio mixing, and final mastering for all video projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging technologies in media production.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during pre-production and concept development phases.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Demonstrable experience with photo editing and manipulation software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Excellent storytelling abilities and a strong visual aesthetic.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience working within the aviation, travel, or tourism industry.
- Familiarity with various camera equipment and shooting techniques (DSLR, Mirrorless, Drone footage).
- Knowledge of digital asset management systems.
- Experience with 3D animation software is a plus.
