Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescribed medications, adhering strictly to protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with ordering and receiving supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries, processing transactions, and directing complex questions to the pharmacist.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, reconciling daily transactions.
- Assist in compounding medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Support the team in administrative tasks, including answering phones and scheduling deliveries.
