Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using appropriate bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and project management teams to understand requirements and technical designs.
- Utilize and contribute to the selection of testing tools and frameworks to automate testing processes.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, advocating for quality assurance best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely bug reports, test summaries, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work with development to ensure timely resolution.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Familiarity with automation testing concepts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and data integrity checks.
