You will lead the definition and documentation of our enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This role demands a holistic understanding of our current technological landscape, an ability to identify gaps and opportunities, and the expertise to design future-state architectures that are scalable, secure, and resilient. You will work cross-functionally with various business units, IT teams, and external partners, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in architectural governance and design. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architectural blueprints, standards, and guidelines across various domains (application, data, infrastructure, security).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionable technology strategies and architectural roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance business capabilities and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring solutions adhere to architectural principles and best practices.
- Define and implement architectural governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments of existing and proposed systems to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology organization.
- Mentor junior architects and technical staff, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an Enterprise Architect role.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex enterprise-scale solutions.
- Profound understanding of various architectural domains (e.g., microservices, cloud, data lakes, APIs).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their architectural principles.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with architectural frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
- TOGAF, ITIL, or other relevant architectural/IT certifications.
- Experience working in a multinational or globally distributed team environment.
- Prior experience with large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and enterprise security architecture.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
