Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. This pivotal role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align with our organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in crafting innovative L&D programs, from leadership development to technical upskilling, across diverse employee populations. You will be responsible for assessing organizational learning needs, selecting appropriate learning technologies and methodologies, and measuring the effectiveness and impact of all L&D interventions. This position requires a proactive leader who can inspire and guide a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and champion a growth mindset throughout the company. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives and future workforce needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing L&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Design, implement, and manage a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Identify organizational capability gaps and propose effective learning solutions utilizing various modalities (e-learning, blended learning, workshops, coaching).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs through robust metrics and reporting, demonstrating ROI and impact on business performance.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging learning technologies, and adult learning theories to continuously enhance program offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners and senior leadership to ensure L&D initiatives support talent management and succession planning efforts.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a senior L&D leadership role (e.g., Director, Head of L&D).
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and learning technologies.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern learning methodologies.
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other HR tech platforms.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
  • Familiarity with talent management frameworks and succession planning.
