Career.zycto is seeking a passionate and driven Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team in New Bedford. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications that power our cutting-edge recruitment platform. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing and deployment, contributing to both front-end user experiences and back-end services.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack web applications using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, architect, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Develop and integrate highly responsive user interface components using React.js and other front-end frameworks.
- Build and optimize efficient, reusable, and scalable back-end services and APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) primarily with Node.js.
- Manage and optimize database schema designs and queries for both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, perform debugging, and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a Full Stack role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience with a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js – React preferred).
- Solid experience with back-end development using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Demonstrated understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai).
