You will play a critical role in coaching both the development team and the Product Owner on various aspects of Scrum, helping them understand and embrace agile values. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) efficiently and effectively.
- Coach the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Help the Product Owner in ensuring the product backlog is refined, prioritized, and understood by the team.
- Remove impediments and resolve conflicts, ensuring the team is able to focus on sprint goals.
- Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
- Promote communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all involved parties.
- Support the adoption and scaling of agile practices across the organization.
- Advocate for agile principles and values, driving cultural change where necessary.
Required Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Deep understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
- Proven ability to foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Scrum certifications (e.g., A-CSM, CSP-SM, SAFe Scrum Master).
- Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
