Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure, offering immediate assistance.
  • Efficiently assist guests with luggage handling, ensuring safe and timely transport to and from their rooms or vehicles.
  • Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions in Clayton Valley/Concord.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance or solutions to enhance their stay.
  • Handle guest requests, inquiries, and minor concerns with professionalism and efficiency, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and impeccable organization of the hotel lobby, entrance, and bell desk areas.
  • Deliver messages, newspapers, packages, and other items to guest rooms promptly.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation to room features and hotel amenities.
  • Collaborate effectively with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with a diverse range of guests.

  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a hotel bellhop, concierge, or front-of-house customer service role.
  • Knowledge of the Clayton Valley/Concord area, including local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Valid driver's license (advantageous if valet services are occasionally required).
  • Proficiency in a second language.
