Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of daily recreational activities for resort guests, including sports, games, arts and crafts, fitness classes, and evening entertainment.
- Engage actively with guests to understand their interests and preferences, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
- Prepare and maintain activity areas, ensuring equipment is in excellent condition and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Promote activities through various channels, including digital displays, flyers, and direct interaction with guests.
- Collaborate with other resort departments (e.g., F&B, Front Desk) to coordinate events and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the development of new and exciting activity programs based on current trends and guest feedback.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback regarding activities in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure all activities adhere to company standards for quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of participation, supplies, and equipment inventory.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage and interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- High level of enthusiasm, energy, and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Recreation, Event Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a customer service, recreation, or event planning role.
