Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of daily recreational activities for resort guests, including sports, games, arts and crafts, fitness classes, and evening entertainment.
  • Engage actively with guests to understand their interests and preferences, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
  • Prepare and maintain activity areas, ensuring equipment is in excellent condition and safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Promote activities through various channels, including digital displays, flyers, and direct interaction with guests.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments (e.g., F&B, Front Desk) to coordinate events and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in the development of new and exciting activity programs based on current trends and guest feedback.
  • Handle guest inquiries and feedback regarding activities in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to company standards for quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation, supplies, and equipment inventory.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage and interact positively with diverse groups of people.
  • High level of enthusiasm, energy, and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Recreation, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, recreation, or event planning role.
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience leading group activities or public speaking.
