Job Description
Career.zycto is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and hardworking Agricultural Worker to join our network of reputable farming enterprises in and around the London area, with an emphasis on supporting talent requiring visa sponsorship. This is a vital role focused on contributing to sustainable food production and maintaining high standards across diverse agricultural operations. While our office is based in central London, the actual farm work will take place at various partner farms located within commutable distance, ensuring a rich and varied experience. You will be instrumental in a range of daily farm activities, working closely with experienced farm managers and teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties, including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and packaging crops according to seasonal demands and operational plans.
- Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring routine checks and minor repairs are carried out.
- Monitor crop health, identify common pests and diseases, and assist with appropriate control measures under supervision.
- Assist with irrigation systems setup, maintenance, and operation to ensure optimal water distribution for crops.
- Participate in soil preparation and fertilization activities, including spreading manure, compost, or chemical fertilizers.
- Handle livestock (if applicable to the specific farm assigned), including feeding, watering, milking, and general welfare checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, including barns, sheds, storage areas, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and established farm protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Record daily activities, yields, stock levels, and other relevant farm data accurately as required by farm management.
- Work collaboratively with farm managers and other team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficient farm operations.

Required Skills
- Proven experience of at least 1 year in agricultural work, manual labor, or a related outdoor physical role.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
