Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders from warehouse stock based on pick lists or voice commands.
- Operate various material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy, proper packaging, and product integrity.
- Load and unload materials onto and from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status, discrepancies, or safety concerns.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Reliable transportation to the Windermere, Edmonton area for consistent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6 months+) as an order picker or in a warehouse/distribution setting.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
