Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and prepare customer orders from warehouse stock based on pick lists or voice commands.
  • Operate various material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
  • Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy, proper packaging, and product integrity.
  • Load and unload materials onto and from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status, discrepancies, or safety concerns.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
  • Reliable transportation to the Windermere, Edmonton area for consistent attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6 months+) as an order picker or in a warehouse/distribution setting.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
