Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming according to established standards.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Remove trash and empty waste receptacles regularly, ensuring proper disposal.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle reasonable guests/residents requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
- Inspect work completed to ensure standards are met, and correct any deficiencies as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role in hospitality or residential settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical condition and stamina; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and proper usage.
