This is a pivotal role within our logistics and distribution network, ensuring that products are accurately selected, packed, and prepared for dispatch under tight deadlines during overnight hours. As a Night Shift Picker and Packer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of goods, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Your daily tasks will involve navigating our warehouse environment, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks (manual or electric, with training provided) to gather items from designated locations. Accuracy is paramount; you will meticulously verify product codes, quantities, and ensure items match order specifications using handheld scanners and inventory management systems. Once picked, you will carefully pack products to prevent damage during transit, selecting appropriate packaging materials and labels. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and the physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate containers, ensuring minimal damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and tracking numbers.
- Operate manual or electric pallet jacks (training provided) safely to move products as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to shift supervisors promptly.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small night team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and order forms.
