Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness and value.
- Coach and mentor development teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices, fostering self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating appropriately when necessary.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation, learning, and adaptability.
- Protect the development team from external interferences and distractions, ensuring focus on sprint commitments.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration within the Scrum team and with stakeholders.
- Track and report on team metrics and progress, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
- Proven ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) certification
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
- Technical background or understanding of software development processes
