Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) performance, availability, and security using various tools.
- Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Implement, manage, and optimize automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient and reliable software releases.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical cloud systems.
- Document operational procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, capacity management, and disaster recovery strategies.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in cloud operations or site reliability engineering.
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and system administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience in a security-focused cloud environment.
- Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
