Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload incoming merchandise from delivery trucks, verifying contents against invoices.
- Accurately stock shelves, racks, and displays with new products, ensuring proper placement and rotation (FIFO).
- Maintain organized and clean sales floor and backroom areas, including disposing of packaging materials.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and responsibly (training provided if needed).
- Monitor product expiry dates and remove damaged or expired items from shelves.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to maintaining accurate stock records.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional product presentation and ensure all aisles are free from obstructions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve nightly stocking goals and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and product rotation.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or warehouse setting.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or similar material handling equipment.
