Job Description

Are you a true animal lover with a passion for the outdoors and an eagerness to learn? Career.zycto is actively seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our growing team as dedicated Dog Walkers, serving the vibrant Sunset Ridge area of Calgary. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for anyone looking to launch a deeply rewarding career working intimately with dogs, regardless of whether you possess prior professional experience in pet care. At Career.zycto, we firmly believe that a genuine, unwavering love for animals, coupled with an unwavering commitment to their safety and well-being, are the paramount qualifications for success in this role.

As a valued Dog Walker, your primary responsibility will be to provide safe, fun, and profoundly engaging walks for our clients’ beloved canine companions. Imagine your day filled with invigorating fresh air, ample physical exercise, and the pure, unadulterated joy of connecting with a diverse array of wonderful dogs. You will be instrumental in ensuring each dog receives the precise amount of attention, physical activity, and meticulous care they require, always adhering strictly to the specific instructions provided by their loving pet parents. This dynamic role is perfectly suited for individuals who genuinely enjoy physical activity, possess exemplary time management capabilities, and can adapt seamlessly to a variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and unique needs.

Career.zycto takes immense pride in consistently creating positive and memorable experiences for both the cherished pets under our care and their appreciative owners. As a Dog Walker, you will be a crucial, integral part of delivering that consistent, exceptional service. While extensive previous experience in dog walking or pet care is not a mandatory prerequisite, an innate sense of responsibility, absolute punctuality, and a proactive, vigilant approach to pet safety are absolutely essential. You’ll be traversing various outdoor terrains, from parks to pathways, come glorious sunshine, gentle rain, or even light snow – so a genuine appreciation for all weather conditions (within safe and reasonable limits) and a robust, comfortable pair of walking shoes are an absolute must! Furthermore, strong observational skills are vital to notice any changes in a dog’s health or behavior. Join us at Career.zycto and transform your heartfelt passion for dogs into a fulfilling, active, and impactful career that truly makes a difference in the community.
