Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Part-Time Chiropractic Assistant with a focus on Therapy Support for one of our esteemed partner clinics in the vibrant Five Points neighborhood of Denver. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about natural health and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience within a dynamic chiropractic setting. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, working closely with chiropractors to ensure the smooth operation of therapy areas and providing exceptional support to patients during their healing journey.

Your role will involve a blend of direct patient interaction, therapeutic support, and administrative tasks. You will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, guiding patients through various therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed by the chiropractor, and ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures. This position requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet patients, prepare them for therapy, and guide them to designated treatment areas.
  • Set up and assist with various therapeutic modalities including but not limited to electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, and traction.
  • Instruct patients on proper form and technique for prescribed therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy rooms, equipment, and common areas.
  • Monitor patient comfort and progress during therapy sessions, reporting observations to the chiropractor.
  • Assist with patient flow, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
  • Educate patients on home care instructions and reinforce chiropractor's recommendations.
  • Manage inventory of therapy supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Perform light administrative duties, including answering phones and processing payments, as required.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical office setting.
  • Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience with scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
