Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Remote UX Designer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a core member of our product development group, you will play a pivotal role in defining and refining user experiences for a diverse portfolio of digital products. You will be responsible for the entire UX design lifecycle, from initial concept generation and discovery through to final implementation support. Your ability to articulate design decisions, present your work effectively, and iterate based on feedback will be crucial. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user behaviors and motivations.
  • Develop and communicate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard design tools like Figma or Sketch.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-centered design solutions.
  • Advocate for user experience best practices and contribute to the evolution of our design system and guidelines, ensuring consistency across products.
  • Present and defend design decisions to cross-functional teams and leadership, clearly articulating the rationale and incorporating feedback thoughtfully.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytical data to continuously improve user experience.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design to keep our products at the forefront of innovation.
  • Participate in design critiques, providing constructive feedback to peers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio to showcase.
  • Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing various user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex design concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fully remote setting.
  • A compelling online portfolio showcasing strong UX design skills, process, and case studies of past projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working within agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints and possibilities.
  • Experience designing for diverse platforms including mobile (iOS/Android) and responsive web applications across various industries.
  • Certification in UX/UI design or related fields.
