As a core member of our product development group, you will play a pivotal role in defining and refining user experiences for a diverse portfolio of digital products. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and understand user behaviors and motivations.
- Develop and communicate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard design tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-centered design solutions.
- Advocate for user experience best practices and contribute to the evolution of our design system and guidelines, ensuring consistency across products.
- Present and defend design decisions to cross-functional teams and leadership, clearly articulating the rationale and incorporating feedback thoughtfully.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytical data to continuously improve user experience.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design to keep our products at the forefront of innovation.
- Participate in design critiques, providing constructive feedback to peers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio to showcase.
- Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Demonstrated experience in planning and executing various user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex design concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fully remote setting.
- A compelling online portfolio showcasing strong UX design skills, process, and case studies of past projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working within agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
