Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites and work areas safely and efficiently.
- Prepare conduits, pull wires, and mount electrical boxes, outlets, and panels under direct supervision.
- Clean and organize work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and productive environment.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies, industry standards, and electrical codes.
- Perform general construction labor duties as assigned, including trenching, digging, and site preparation.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions from supervising electricians.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to a supervisor.
Required Skills
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and construction processes.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of common hand tools and willingness to learn power tool operation.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces).
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Commitment to workplace safety and a drug-free environment.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites within the Green Mountain, Lakewood area.
Preferred Qualifications
