Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment for suspicious activities or incidents.
- Control access to premises, verifying credentials and escorting visitors as required.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and security breaches.
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs accurately and thoroughly.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to clients, visitors, and employees in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Required Skills
- Ability to obtain a valid Manitoba Security Guard License (or already possess one).
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Fort Rouge location.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certification.
