Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a motivated and dedicated Welder Apprentice to join our growing metal fabrication team in Belmont, Pueblo. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity designed for individuals with little to no prior professional welding experience but a strong desire to learn and excel.
As a Welder Apprentice, you will embark on a comprehensive training program, working alongside our experienced welders and fabricators. You’ll gain practical, hands-on experience with various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, learning to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and safely operate essential metalworking equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced welders with various welding and fabrication tasks.
- Learn and apply proper safety procedures and protocols in a shop environment.
- Operate and maintain basic welding and metalworking equipment under supervision.
- Prepare materials for welding, including grinding, cleaning, and cutting.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
- Learn to identify different types of metals and their properties.
- Perform quality checks on finished welds and fabricated components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
