Key Responsibilities
- Assist survey crew chief and technicians in all aspects of field surveying operations.
- Handle, transport, and set up surveying equipment, including tripods, rods, GPS units, and total stations.
- Clear brush and obstacles from survey lines to ensure clear sightlines for measurements.
- Place stakes, pins, and markers according to survey specifications.
- Maintain and clean survey equipment, ensuring its proper functioning.
- Learn to read and interpret survey stakes, flagging, and basic plans.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures on job sites.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, hammering, and carrying equipment over varying terrain.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions accurately.
