In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving incoming shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, organizing inventory, and preparing items for outgoing deliveries. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred, but training provided).
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, weighing, and staging for transport.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly to management.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends, if required.
