Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and common areas according to established standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Change bed linens and make beds, ensuring they are fresh and neatly presented.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and window sills, and vacuum carpets and mop floors thoroughly.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
  • Replenish guest room supplies and amenities such as towels, toiletries, and complimentary items.
  • Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to management.
  • Handle guest requests efficiently and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and colleagues at all times.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of standing, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling for extended periods.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role is a plus, though not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
