Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to stimulate development.
- Monitor and observe children's behavior, health, and progress, documenting and reporting as necessary.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents/guardians regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
- Administer basic first aid or prescribed medication as required and authorized, following strict protocols.
- Assist children with personal care routines, including feeding, diaper changing, toilet training, and napping.
- Ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of childcare areas and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and licensing regulations and policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other caregivers and staff to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Encourage positive social interactions and emotional development among children.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in infant and toddler care (ages 0-3 years).
- Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuinely nurturing disposition.
- Ability to manage multiple children effectively and maintain a calm demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada upon successful visa sponsorship.

- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
