Key Responsibilities
- Assist with studio setup and breakdown for recording sessions, including microphone placement, cable management, and equipment checks.
- Operate audio recording equipment under supervision during live sessions, ensuring proper levels and clear audio capture.
- Provide administrative support to producers and hosts, including scheduling, script preparation, and content organization.
- Perform basic audio editing tasks, such as removing pauses, trimming clips, and syncing audio/video elements.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, ensuring all equipment is stored properly and in good working order.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with studio equipment and software.
- Assist with media management, including file organization, backups, and archival processes.
- Support marketing and promotion efforts by preparing audio snippets or visual assets for social media.
- Research and gather supplementary materials for podcast episodes as needed.
- Take detailed notes during production meetings and recording sessions.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of audio recording principles and equipment.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, or GarageBand.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
