Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various online platforms and job boards.
  • Screen resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates based on job requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing calendars effectively.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information and progress.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and other recruitment-related administrative documents.
  • Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks, data entry, and special projects as needed.
  • Participate in recruitment strategy meetings and gain insights into market trends and talent acquisition strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document creation and data management.

  • Previous internship, volunteer, or part-time experience in an office, administrative, or HR setting.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other recruitment software.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and recruitment best practices in Nigeria is a plus.
