Career.zycto is on an urgent mission to expand our fulfillment team in Corbin Heights, New Britain, and we’re seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join us immediately! Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on picking lists or scanner directions.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details, ensuring correct quantities and products.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and protective packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to read and interpret order forms and picking lists
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment
- Experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, or other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or RF scanners
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workloads
