Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene needs, respecting dignity and privacy.
- Support individuals with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by care plans, utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes or concerns to senior staff.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary requirements are met and encouraging independence where possible.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging individuals in conversation and activities.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and concise care records and documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for individuals, adhering to infection control policies.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
