Job Description

This is an incredible opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nanny to become an integral part of a wonderful private family located in Huyton, Liverpool. The family is seeking a proactive, kind, and professional individual to provide comprehensive care and support for their two children, aged 4 and 7 years old. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, possess a nurturing spirit, and be committed to creating a stimulating, safe, and loving environment. You will be instrumental in the children’s daily routines, educational activities, and overall well-being. This role requires someone who can seamlessly integrate into a family dynamic, bringing a sense of calm, order, and joy. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, compassionate, and engaging care for two children, aged 4 and 7 years old.
  • Manage daily routines, including waking, dressing, bathing, and bedtime.
  • Prepare nutritious and healthy meals and snacks for the children.
  • Organise and supervise age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor excursions.
  • Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a love for learning.
  • Perform school drop-offs and pick-ups reliably and punctually.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment for the children's living and play areas.
  • Handle children's laundry and ensure their belongings are tidy.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
  • Administer basic first aid if necessary and manage minor ailments.
  • Plan and execute engaging outings and enrichment activities in the local community.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2-3 years (24-36 months) of verifiable experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
  • Proven ability to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with children and parents.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for childcare.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one immediately).
  • Current Paediatric First Aid certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Diploma).
  • Experience with children in the specified age range (4-7 years old).
  • Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate educational practices.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work, with advance notice.
  • References from previous families or employers.
