Job Description

Are you passionate about making a profound impact on young lives? Do you dream of a career where every day brings new opportunities to inspire, support, and nurture the next generation? Career.zycto is excited to partner with a vibrant primary school in Kirkby, Liverpool, seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Teaching Assistants to join their thriving team. This is an unparalleled opportunity for individuals eager to embark on a fulfilling journey in primary education, providing essential support to pupils and teachers alike.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. You’ll be a vital member of the classroom, assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring all pupils have the support they need to reach their full potential. Your days will be dynamic and rewarding, involving direct interaction with children from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their learning journey, and fostering a love for education.

This entry-level position is perfect for someone who may not have extensive formal experience but possesses a natural aptitude for working with children, excellent communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to their development. We are looking for individuals who can bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to the classroom, ready to learn and grow within a supportive school community.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to prepare learning resources, manage classroom activities, and provide one-on-one or small group support. You will help reinforce concepts taught in lessons, assist with reading, writing, and numeracy, and encourage children to participate actively in all aspects of school life. Beyond academic support, you will also contribute to the pastoral care of pupils, helping to build their confidence, resolve minor conflicts, and ensure their well-being throughout the school day, including during break times and school trips. Joining this school means becoming part of a community that values every child and every member of staff, offering a collaborative atmosphere where professional growth is encouraged and celebrated.

You will have the chance to develop your skills in classroom management, educational support strategies, and understanding the primary curriculum. This role offers an incredible foundation for a career in education, with potential pathways for further professional development and, for those interested, even progression into teaching. If you’re ready to start a truly meaningful career and help shape the future of children in Kirkby, we encourage you to apply.
