Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare immigration forms, petitions, and applications under attorney supervision.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Assist attorneys with legal research, gathering relevant statutes, regulations, and case law pertaining to immigration matters.
- Communicate professionally with clients to gather necessary information and documentation, providing updates as directed by attorneys.
- Prepare correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Schedule appointments, interviews with USCIS or other government agencies, and court appearances.
- Manage deadlines and case calendars to ensure timely filing of applications and responses.
- Assist with the preparation of responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) from USCIS.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team and ensure efficient office operations.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
