Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle for daily delivery routes within Stillington, Easingwold, and surrounding areas.
- Efficiently load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing navigation tools and local knowledge.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, obtaining signatures and delivering packages with a smile.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any issues promptly to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and use handheld devices for tracking and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and manage fluctuating package volumes.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license (full, clean)
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg (with assistance if necessary)
