Career.zycto is actively recruiting a dedicated Night Shift Order Picker to strengthen our operations team in Eastfield, Scarborough. This pivotal position ensures the accurate and timely picking, packing, and preparation of goods for dispatch, sustaining the continuous flow of our supply chain throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from designated storage locations.
- Safely operate manual handling equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, pump trucks).
- Conduct quality checks on picked items for accuracy and damage prevention.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area throughout the night shift.
- Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently work night shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg repeatedly.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong, proactive work ethic.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order picking role.
- Experience operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Knowledge of basic warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Valid forklift truck license (e.g., Counterbalance or Reach Truck) is a significant advantage.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory and dispatch documentation.
