Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property.
- Monitor crowd behaviour and identify potential risks or conflicts.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, security incidents, or medical situations.
- Conduct bag checks, metal detector screenings, and enforce access control procedures.
- Provide clear and concise directions and information to event attendees.
- De-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Liaise with event management, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of activities.
- Enforce event rules and regulations to ensure compliance and order.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling security infrastructure as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security role, preferably in event or crowd management.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
